Abstract: Provided is a three dimensional (3D) image content generating system. The 3D image content generating system includes a display profiler configured to receive profile information including a hardware characteristic of a display device from the display device, and a content generator configured to receive at least one of a first type of content having no 3D information and a second type of content having 3D information, and to generate an image according to the profile information.
