Abstract: A system is provided that includes at least one server device; and a mobile user device that includes processing circuitry configured to execute an application that receives an input of user information regarding a plurality of characteristics of at least the hair of a user including at least a curl pattern of the user; and receives an input of a desired result of treatment of the hair of the user. The processing circuitry of the at least one server device receives the input of user information and the input of the desired result of treatment and outputs a product or treatment recommendation based at least partially on the determined curl pattern of the user and the desired result of the user.
