Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a display apparatus having a high resolution with improved light efficiency. In one aspect, such display apparatus includes a substrate, a light emitting element formed on the substrate and configured to emit light of different colors via a plurality of sub-pixels, and a partial color filter layer formed on a first subset of the plurality of sub-pixels configured to output at least two of the different colors.
