    Abstract: An electroluminescent display device includes: a substrate, a first subpixel on the substrate, a second subpixel on the substrate, a third subpixel on the substrate, a respective first electrode in each of the first to third subpixels, an emission layer on the first electrodes, a common second electrode on the emission layer, an encapsulation layer including: a first encapsulation layer on the second electrode, and a second encapsulation layer on the first encapsulation layer, and a first semi-transmissive layer between the first encapsulation layer and the second encapsulation layer, the first semi-transmissive layer overlapping the first electrode of the first subpixel.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a display apparatus. The display apparatus includes a substrate including a first subpixel, a second subpixel, and a third subpixel. A bottom electrode is on the substrate. A light emitting layer is on the bottom electrode, and a top electrode is on the light emitting layer. Each of the first subpixel, the second subpixel, and the third subpixel includes a first mode pixel having a first viewing angle and a second mode pixel having a second viewing angle that is less than the first viewing angle.

    Abstract: The disclosure relates to a high-aperture-ratio microdisplay with a microcavity structure. The microdisplay comprises a substrate, unit pixels, driving elements, and organic light-emitting diodes. The organic light-emitting diodes each comprise: an anode, an organic emission layer, and a cathode. The anode is formed by sequentially stacking a reflecting electrode, a first dielectric layer, a second dielectric layer, and a transparent electrode. The organic emission layer is stacked over the anode. The cathode is stacked over the organic emission layer. The first dielectric layer and the second dielectric layer have contact portion that open at least one corner of the reflecting electrode. The anode is connected to the reflecting electrode through the contact portions.

    Abstract: A display device and a method for manufacturing a display device are disclosed. The display device may prevent a leakage current from occurring between adjacent pixels. The display device comprises a substrate, a first electrode provided in each of a first subpixel and a second subpixel arranged to be adjacent to the first subpixel, on the substrate, a trench provided between the first subpixel and the second subpixel, a light emitting layer provided in each of the first subpixel and the second subpixel on the first electrode, a second electrode provided in each of the first subpixel and the second subpixel on the light emitting layer, and a third electrode electrically connecting the second electrode provided in the first subpixel with the second electrode provided in the second subpixel. The second electrode is disconnected between the first subpixel and the second subpixel by the trench.

    Abstract: An electroluminescent display apparatus includes a substrate including a display area and a non-display area outside the display area, a first electrode provided in each of a plurality of subpixels in the display area of the substrate, a connection electrode provided in the non-display area of the substrate, a bank covering both ends of the first electrode and covering a top surface of the connection electrode, a light emitting layer provided on the first electrode and the bank in the display area and the non-display area, and a second electrode provided on the light emitting layer, wherein, a trench is provided in the bank in the non-display area, one side surface of the connection electrode is exposed at an inner portion of the trench, and the second electrode extends to the inner portion of the trench and contacts the one side surface of the connection electrode.
