    Abstract: A method for fabricating a display device can include providing a base film on an auxiliary substrate, in which the base film includes a display area, and a first pad area; providing a plurality of thin film transistors on the display area of the base film; providing first pads on the first pad area of the base film; providing a plurality of organic light emitting diodes connected with the plurality of thin film transistors; providing an encapsulation layer for covering the plurality of organic light emitting diodes; attaching a plurality of source flexible films onto the first pads, respectively; separating the base film from the auxiliary substrate; and cutting a part of the base film between each of the plurality of source flexible films.

    Abstract: A high-resolution rollable display device is disclosed. The display device includes a rollable display panel having a first side and a second side that is longer than the first side. A printed circuit board is disposed along the first side of the rollable display panel. A plurality of flexible films are connected to the printed circuit board. In one embodiment, a first end of each of the plurality of flexible films is connected to the printed circuit board at the first side of the rollable display panel and a second end of each of the plurality of flexible films is connected to the second side of the rollable display panel.

    Abstract: A flexible display device includes a first substrate defining a display region having a pixel array therein and a non-display region outside of the display region; a second substrate on the first substrate to cover the pixel array; at least one circuit attached to one side of the first substrate with a protruded portion protruding outwardly from an edge of the first substrate; and a first protective film below the first substrate and overlapping at least part of the protruded portion of the circuit.
