Abstract: A display device according to an example of the present disclosure includes a substrate in which an emission area and a non-emission area are divided and a plurality of sub-pixels are defined, an insulating layer disposed on the substrate, a first electrode disposed in each of the plurality of sub-pixels, a bank disposed on the insulating layer and exposing the first electrode through an opening thereof, an organic layer disposed on the first electrode, and a second electrode disposed on the organic layer. The bank includes exposed side surfaces by removing one area thereof between the plurality of sub-pixels, an undercut structure inwardly from lower ends of the exposed side surfaces. The bank further includes exposed side surfaces by removing an area thereof between the plurality of sub-pixels, and a trench structure by removing a portion of a thickness of the insulating layer.

Abstract: A display device can include a substrate having emission and non-emission areas and sub-pixels, an insulating layer on the substrate, a first electrode in the sub-pixels, a bank on the insulating layer and including an opening exposing the first electrode, an organic layer on the first electrode and a second electrode. Also, the bank includes first exposed side surfaces where a first area of the bank has been removed between the sub-pixels, and includes an undercut structure that extends further into the bank from lower ends of the first exposed side surfaces, and second exposed side surfaces where a second area of the bank has been removed between the sub-pixels, and which includes a trench structure from which a portion of a thickness of the insulating layer has been removed.
