    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a loaded-object sensor and an induction heating device including the loaded-object sensor. The loaded-object sensor has a cylindrical hollow body with a sensing coil wound on its outer surface. Further, a receiving space formed inside the body of the loaded-object sensor accommodates a temperature sensor. The loaded-object sensor is concentrically provided in a central region of the working coil. The sensor may measure the temperature of the loaded object while discriminating a type of the loaded object placed on a corresponding position to the working coil.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein is an electric pot having an improved relay installation position. The electric pot includes a pot main body that is provided with a magnetic field generator generating a magnetic field at a lower portion of the pot main body, and a supporter that includes a magnetism detection sensor detecting magnitude of a magnetic field generated by the magnetic field generator and, based on the detected magnitude of a magnetic field, generating a voltage and that includes a comparator comparing the voltage generated by the magnetism detection sensor with a predetermined reference voltage and, based on the comparison, controlling a switchover operation of a relay part, thereby controlling the relay part through a simple circuit configuration and through magnetic field generation and detection means without an additional communication means.

    Abstract: A controller may measure resonance current of a working coil, measure driving voltage of a switching element included in an inverter circuit that supplies current to the working coil, and generates a phase margin pulse based on the resonance current and the driving voltage. The controller may compare the phase margin pulse with a switching signal and determine a driving state of the induction heating apparatus, and control driving of the working coil based on the driving state of the induction heating apparatus. Additionally, when it is determined that a driving frequency of the working coil is included in a capacitive area, the induction heating apparatus stops from operating, or a driving frequency of the working coil is set again.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an induction heating device and a method for controlling the same. In accordance with the present disclosure, first, inductive sensing is periodically performed to detect a specific object with inductive heating property. Next, current sensing of the specific object having the inductive heating property is performed to again check whether the specific object has the inductive heating property. Thus, when the user simply places the loaded object on the device, the device may allow the user to quickly and intuitively confirm whether the corresponding loaded object has the inductive heating property.
