Abstract: An air purifying system includes a robot cleaner configured to generate map information during vacuum cleaning and at least one air purifier that is operated based on the generated map information. Air purifying is performed using updated map information acquired by the robot cleaner during cleaning. The at least one air purifier includes two portable air purifiers mounted on a base air purifier. The two portable air purifiers are configured to be lifted from the base air purifier and moved to separate indoor rooms. The base air purifier includes a controller that determines, based on the generated map information and other information, which rooms the two portable air purifiers should be placed in so that air purifying may be efficient.

Abstract: An air purifier includes a first case and a second case that are insertably coupled such that the second case slides up and down with respect to the first case. The first case may suction air through a suction space provided at a bottom and a plurality of holes formed in a side wall. The second case may include a discharge grill provided at a top end through which air is discharged and a plurality of holes formed in a side wall through which air is suctioned when the second case is moved down to a first position and through which air is discharged when the second case is moved up to a second position. The top discharge grill may be opened and closed. The second case may also include a side discharge portion formed in the side wall above the plurality of holes. The side discharge portion may be opened and closed.

Abstract: An air purifier may include a main body and a floating body configured to levitate above the main body via magnetic force. The main body may include a fan to suction air, a filter to filter suctioned air, and a discharge port provided on an upper surface through which air is discharged. The floating body may be provided above the discharge port and further disperse discharged air. The main body may have a magnetic force generator to provide a magnetic force that levitates the floating body, and may also have a magnetic force adjustor configured to maintain a stable position of the floating body.

Abstract: An air purifying system may include a main air purifier that has a flat upper surface configured to support at least two cylindrical portable air purifiers. Each of the main and portable air purifiers may have a fan to suction air and a filter to filter suctioned air. The upper surface of the main air purifier may include a seating groove, an elastic member provided in the seating groove, and a seating plate resting on top of the elastic member. When a portable air purifier is seated on the seating groove, the elastic member may be compressed and the seating plate may be lowered such that the portable air purifier may be supported within an inner wall of the seating groove. When the portable air purifier is removed from the seating groove, the elastic member may expand and raise the seating plate back to an initial position.

The case may include a first support surface that protrudes from an inner circumferential surface of the case and disposed behind the fan cover to face the fan cover, and a second support surface that protrudes from the inner circumferential surface of the case and disposed in front of at least a portion of the filter module to face the at least a portion of the filter module. The fan cover and the filter module may be coupled in a frontward-rearward direction with the first support surface and the second support surface interposed therebetween and may be fixed to the case.
