    Abstract: A vacuum cleaner includes a main body and a suction nozzle that suctions up dust on the floor. The suction nozzle includes a housing, a driver, and a rotating brush. The housing includes an entrance through which the dust travels to the main body, a first shaft member, and a first rib disposed along a circumference of the first shaft member. The rotating brush includes a cylindrical body rotated by the first shaft member. The rotating brush also includes a brush member attached to an outer surface of the cylindrical body. The brush member rubs against the floor to direct the dust on the floor towards the entrance. As the brush member rotates, it also comes into contact with the first rib. The brush member includes a plurality of filaments. Some of the filaments are elastically deformed in the direction of the rotation axis upon contacting the first rib.

    Abstract: A vacuum cleaner is disclosed. The vacuum cleaner according to embodiments of the present disclosure includes a main body and a suction nozzle. The suction nozzle includes a housing, a button, a rotating brush, and a detachable cover. The housing includes an insertion hole. The button includes a first protrusion. The detachable cover includes a cover body and a slider. The cover body includes an insertion member, a second protrusion, and a rail. The rotating brush is rotatably mounted to the slider. The slider is mounted on the rail so as to be movable in a first direction. The insertion member is inserted into the insertion hole in the first direction. As the button is moved, the first protrusion is selectively positioned in a movement path in the first direction of the second protrusion.

The suction nozzle includes a connector that defines a passage configured to guide the dust in a first direction to the main body, and a housing that rotatably connects to the connector and defines an inlet configured to transfer the dust to the passage. The connector includes an insertion portion that has a cylindrical shape and is configured to insert into the inlet, a first connection portion spaced apart from the inlet in the first direction, and a coupling part disposed at an outer surface of the insertion portion. The coupling part and the first connection portion are configured to restrict movement of the housing in the first direction, and the inlet is configured to restrict deformation of at least one of the insertion portion or the coupling part.
