Abstract: According to an embodiment of the present invention, a refrigerator comprises: a cabinet; a grill pan assembly having a channel guiding a flow for supplying cool air to a storage space, and an outlet for discharging the cool air; and a filter device mounted on the grill pan assembly, wherein the filter device comprises a front part, a frame part for accommodating a filter member, and an LED module for emitting light at the filter member, and the filter member comprises a photocatalyst for removing pollutants or bacteria adsorbed on the filter member in response to the visible light emitted from the LED module.
