Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a low temperature-calcined lead-free glass frit and paste, and a vacuum glass assembly using the same. The glass frit according to the present disclosure has a novel component system comprising V2O5, TeO2, CuO, BaO, one or more of Ag2O and Bi2O3, ZnO, and one or more of SnO and MoO3 at a characteristic composition ratio according to the disclosure, whereby the glass frit can replace a lead-based glass composition of the related art, can be calcined at a low temperature of 350° C. or lower and can ensure excellent chemical durability.

Abstract: A glass frit according to this application may include a composition of P2O5, V2O5, TeO2, CuO, ZnO, and BaO configured to replace a conventional lead glass composition and enable a low temperature calcination. A coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) of the glass frit may be matched with that of a glass substrate. The composition may not include an inorganic filler or at least reduce a content of an inorganic filler to reduce or prevent separation and breakage and to improve durability. The glass frit may be used as a paste for a vacuum glass assembly.

Abstract: A coating composition may include a glass frit including Phosphorus Oxide (P2O5), Silicon Oxide (SiO2), Boron Oxide (B2O3), a group I-based metal oxide, Barium Oxide (BaO), Sodium Fluoride (NaF), Titanium Oxide (TiO2), Stannous Oxide (SnO), Zinc Oxide (ZnO), and an adhesion enhancement component. The P2O5 may be included by about 40 wt % to about 55 wt % based on a total weight of the glass frit. The SiO2 may be included by about 5 wt % to about 15 wt % based on the total weight of the glass frit. The B2O3 may be included by about 5 wt % to about 10 wt % based on the total weight of the glass frit. The group I-based metal oxide may be included by about 3 wt % to about 10 wt % based on the total weight of the glass frit. The ZnO may be included by about 10 wt % to about 25 wt % based on the total weight of the glass frit, and the TiO2 may be included by about 0.1 wt % to about 5 wt % based on the total weight of the glass frit.
