Abstract: A method of setting at least a mapping between a channel number and a program number is provided. The method includes receiving a virtual channel table (VCT) and a program association table (PAT) transmitted via a communication channel, comparing the VCT and the PAT to generate a comparison result, and determining a mapping between a specific channel number and a specific program number according to the comparison result.
