    Abstract: A lifter plate assembly for a motor vehicle window and method of assembly thereof is provided. The lifter plate assembly includes a main body having a rail guide hook for sliding receipt of window regulator rails. A pair of opposed spring fingers are disposed in the rail guide hook for biased engagement with the window regulator rails. A resilient cushion supports the spring fingers against yielding to maintain the spring fingers in biased engagement with the widow regulator rails. A window bracket is configured for fixed attachment to a window and has a tongue configured for sliding and snapping receipt in a receptacle of a window retainer plate of the main body. The receptacle has ribs or grooves and the tongue has the other of grooves or ribs, wherein the ribs and grooves interdigitate with one another to prevent relative fore/aft movement between the window bracket the window retainer plate.

    Abstract: An adjustable window regulator lift plate assembly for a vehicle window includes a base and a window holder. The window holder is secured to the base via a part-in-assembly fastener that extends through an aperture in the base and into an aperture formed in an inner leg of the window holder. The window holder may receive and secure a window, and the fastener may be inserted through the window holder and into a fastener plate disposed on an outer leg of the window holder. The window holder includes a curved inner surface on the inner leg, and the base includes a curved outer surface that contacts the inner leg. The window holder may be shifted and pivoted relative to the base. The fastener may be tightened to secure the window holder relative to the base in a desired pivoted position.

    Abstract: A lifter plate assembly for holding a window of a motor vehicle door assembly and facilitating adjustable movement of the window along a vertical direction, and method of construction thereof are provided. The lifter plate assembly includes a main body having a rail guide hook for sliding receipt of a window regulator rail. A window holder is fixed to the main body for fixed receipt of an edge of the window. A cable holder is coupled to the main body via an adjustment mechanism for fixed attachment to at least one cable. The adjustment mechanism is adjustable via a plurality of tool-receiving features to move the main body and the window holder relative to the cable holder along the vertical direction. Each tool-receiving feature is accessible along separate first, second and third axes from one another.

    Abstract: An actuator assembly of an actuation system for a closure member of a vehicle is provided. The actuator assembly includes an actuator housing including a sensor housing. The actuator assembly also includes an electric motor disposed in the actuator housing and configured to rotate a driven shaft operably coupled to an extensible member that is coupled to one of a body or the closure member for opening or closing the closure member. The actuator assembly also includes an actuator controller disposed in the sensor housing of the actuator housing and coupled to electric motor and an accelerometer configured to sense movement of the closure member. The actuator controller is configured to detect the movement of the closure member using the accelerometer. The actuator controller then controls the opening or closing of the closure member based on the movement of the closure member using the electric motor.
