    摘要: An arrangement (1) for cleaning surfaces (2), particularly curved or arched or wavy surfaces and/or surfaces (2) with varying direction of curvature, for example on vehicle chassis, metal strip or unflat plates. The arrangement has a cleaning device (3) having a tension resistant carrier band or belt with an upper section and a lower section and also at least two reversing rollers or rolls (4), which device acts with a section as a cleaning belt section (6) on the surface to be cleaned (2) with its inner side facing the reversing rollers or rolls (4). The device (1) has a presser device (8) with a guide (9) for the cleaning belt section (6), through which the cleaning belt section (6) can be pressed. It is provided that the presser device (8) includes at least one flexible cushion or buffer (10), and that the guide (9) acted on thereby is deflectable or bendable transversely to, or at right angles to, the surface to be cleaned (2).

    摘要: An apparatus (1) serves for cleaning surfaces on boards, for instance, and has a cleaning device (2) which is circumferentially continuous and has an upper strand (2) and a lower strand (4) and two guide pulleys (5, 6) in between. The one strand is the cleaning strand which is held by a guide (8) and is pressed onto the surface to be cleaned. A carrier belt (7) is recessed or flattened in some regions of at least one longitudinal side and is therefore narrower in relation to the rest of its longitudinal area. At least one part (8a) at the entrance end of the guide (8) as considered in the feed direction of the cleaning strand, is deflectable or flexible outwardly from the feed direction and can thereby be applied to the inside (7a) of the carrier belt (7). The guide (8) has a substantially C-shaped cross section accommodating the entire width of the carrier belt (7). A narrower slot (10) of the guide (8) has a width smaller than that of the carrier belt (7), but equal to or greater than the recessed or flattened area of the carrier belt (7), so that when the part (8a) is deflected this recessed area of the carrier belt (7) enters the guide (8) and the following wider area of the carrier belt (7) is threaded into the guide.

    摘要: A process for the removal of particles (15) that are adhering to dry surfaces (2) of an object to be cleaned is carried out by means of a wiping element (5) in such a way that this wiping element (5) and the surface (2) to be cleaned carry out a movement relative to each other, and in conjunction with this, the wiping element (5) frictionally contacts the surface (2). In order that the particles (15) that are adhering to the surface (2) can be easily picked up by the wiping element (5), the wiping element (5) is moistened to such a slight extent that the particles (15) adhere better to this wiping element than to a dry wiping element, whereby, however, this amount of moisture is so chosen that the contacted surface (2) to be cleaned itself remains dry, so that the adhesive forces there would not in turn be increased by the cleaning liquid.
