Abstract: The system includes an optical line terminal, a cloud server and an optical network terminal, wherein, the optical line terminal includes a part of management entities supported by the OMCI protocol, the part of management entities is associated with device information of the optical line terminal, the cloud server supports virtual OMCI, and the cloud server includes another part of management entities supported by the OMCI protocol. According to the scheme of the disclosure, by retaining a part of MEs supported by the OMCI protocol which is associated with the device information of OLT in OLT, and deploying another part of MEs supported by the OMCI protocol in the cloud server, it can reduce or avoid the dependency of the vOMCI on the OLT device while the vOMCI is realized to reduce the complexity of the OLT device and improve the flexibility of deploying the OMCI protocol stack of different service providers.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method and apparatus for triggering vOMCI function from OLT to send OMCI messages. the method comprises: generating a content message that needs to be sent to ONU based on OMCI protocol; obtaining an ONU list corresponding to the content message, and sending the content message and the ONU list to vOLTMF or vOMCI function deployed in a cloud server; receiving an OMCI message sent by the vOMCI function, and sending the OMCI message to corresponding ONU, wherein the OMCI message is generated by the vOMCI function according to the content message. This disclosure provides a mechanism for triggering vOMCI function from OLT to send OMCI messages to ONU for the content messages that are generated in the OLT and need to be sent to the ONU based on the OMCI protocol.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method, apparatus and system for transmitting OMCI messages. The method includes receiving an OMCI message from a cloud server, wherein the cloud server supports vOMCI; judging whether the received OMCI message is associated with device information of the optical line terminal, if so, obtaining device association information corresponding to the received OMCI message, filling the device association information into the received OMCI message, and sending the filled OMCI message to the optical network terminal, otherwise, sending the received OMCI message directly to the optical network terminal.
