    摘要: A vehicle camera mounting system includes, among other things, a first bracket portion that has a first attachment feature that is configured to be secured to an exterior of a vehicle. The first bracket portion extends laterally from the first attachment feature to a second attachment feature. The first attachment feature is provided by a plate that has apertures that are configured to receive fasteners that secure the first bracket portion to the vehicle. The second attachment feature is configured to mount to the vehicle at a location remote from the plate. The system further includes a camera assembly that is secured to the second attachment feature.

    摘要: A camera mirror system for a vehicle includes a camera having a field of view. The camera has a lens that is configured to focus light on an image capture unit and a filter switch that are each arranged in an optical path provided between the lens and the image capture unit. The filter switch has an infrared (IR) filter that is movable into and out of the optical path in response to a IR filter command A display is in communication with the camera and is configured to display the field of view. An IR light-emitting diode (LED) is configured to illuminate the field of view in response to an IR LED command. A controller is in communication with the image capture unit, the filter switch and the IR LED. The controller is configured to provide the IR filter command and the IR LED command in response to a limited-use night vision condition based upon a factor other than an amount of atmospheric light.

    摘要: A camera mirror system for a vehicle includes a camera system having at least a first and second field of view of a scene. The first and second fields of view include a shared overlap area. At least one display is configured to display the first and second fields of view to provide a complete view of the scene comprising the first and second fields of view adjoining at a stitching interface corresponding to an intersection of the first and second fields of view in the overlap area. At least one object detector is configured to detect an object in the scene. A controller is in communication with the camera system, the at least one object detector, and the at least one display. The controller includes a stitching algorithm configured to evaluate the proximity of the object to the overlap area and adjust at least one of the first and second fields of view to move the stitching interface and ensure the object is depicted on the at least one display.
