Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A UE may communicate with a set of transceiver nodes (e.g., transmission reception points (TRPs)) in a first transceiver node operation mode (e.g., a multi-TRP mode). A first transceiver node of the set of transceiver nodes may receive, from a second of the set of transceiver nodes, an indication to switch between rate matching states. The first transceiver node may switch from a first rate matching state to a second rate matching state and may transmit a downlink shared channel based on a resource configuration associated with the second rate matching state. The UE may receive the shared channel based on an antenna port configuration determined by the UE based on the first transceiver node operation and rate matching information. The rate matching information may be provided by the first transceiver node.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may perform a decoding operation on a downlink message for the UE. The UE may store, in a buffer of the UE, decoding information associated with the decoding operation on the downlink message based at least in part on the decoding operation on the downlink message being at least partially unsuccessful. In some examples, the UE may transmit, to a network entity, a report indicating buffer usage information of the buffer of the UE, where the buffer usage information indicates one or more parameters associated with the decoding information stored in the buffer of the UE. In some cases, the buffer usage information may indicate one or more transport blocks for which entries are present in the buffer of the UE.

A user equipment (UE) may receive a control message (e.g., downlink control information (DCI), radio resource control) indicating a configuration for a signal, where the configuration may indicates whether the signal is associated with one or more unified transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states of a selected unified TCI codepoint. The UE may receive a first DCI message indicating a set of one or more activated TCI codepoints that are each associated with one or more TCI states, and receive a second DCI message indicating the selected unified TCI codepoint from the set of one or more activated TCI codepoints. The UE may apply a TCI state for communication of the signal in accordance with the configuration.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) are described. The UE may be configured to support uplink power control for multiple random access channel (RACH) procedures. A medium access control layer entity at the UE may maintain multiple sets of counters and parameters for multiple simultaneous RACH procedures. In some cases, the UE may perform simultaneous RACH procedures with network entities associated with different timing advance groups, and the UE may associate the counters and parameters of the RACH procedure with the timing advance group. In other cases, the UE may associate the counters and parameters of the RACH procedure with multiple control resource set pool indexes which may correspond to multiple transmission reception points. Each set of counters may be associated with an uplink power control that the UE may use to determine the PRACH transmission power for each RACH procedure.

The method also includes generating an original hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) codebook based on whether each of the number of transmission is successfully decoded. A number of partitions for a number of blocks corresponds to quantized HARQ-ACK bits. The method still further includes transmitting the quantized HARQ-ACK bits to the network device.

Abstract: A method for wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a network node, a group of downlink transmissions. The method also includes forming a first hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ)-acknowledgement (ACK) part and a second HARQ-ACK part associated with a HARQ-ACK payload in accordance with a transformation scheme. The HARQ-ACK payload may include HARQ feedback for each one of the group of downlink transmissions. A size of the second HARQ-ACK part may be a function of the first HARQ-ACK part. The method also includes separately encoding the first HARQ-ACK part and the second HARQ-ACK part. The method further includes transmitting, to the network node, the encoded first HARQ-ACK part and the encoded second HARQ-ACK part.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for PUSCH selection for UCI multiplexing. The apparatus determines that a transmission of UCI would at least partially overlap in time with transmissions of a set of PUSCHs. The set of PUSCHs including a plurality of PUSCHs on a same CC that are at least partially overlapping in time. The apparatus selects one PUSCH of the set of PUSCHs for multiplexing the UCI. The selection of the one PUSCH being based at least partially on a group association between the UCI and each PUSCH of the set of PUSCHs, or one or more transmission parameters of each PUSCH of the plurality of PUSCHs. The apparatus multiplexes the UCI on the selected one PUSCH for simultaneous transmission.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A communication device, which may be otherwise known as user equipment (UE) may support repetition of physical downlink control channels (PDCCH) and handling a combined PDCCH candidate associated with multiple search space sets. For example, a UE may combine a first PDCCH candidate corresponding to a first search space set and a second PDCCH candidate corresponding to a second search space set to form a combined PDCCH candidate. The UE may decode the combined PDCCH candidate based on one or more factors, for example, such as a blind decoding PDCCH candidate threshold. As a result, the UE may decode the combined PDCCH candidate in addition to decoding of individual PDCCH candidates, thereby providing increased flexibility for downlink control information (DCI) and improving the reliability of PDCCH.

In some examples, the control signaling configuring a unified TCI state for an uplink transmission may indicate the timing advance value for the uplink transmission. In some examples, the UE may receive control signaling indicating an association between a set of timing advance values for the component carrier associated with a set of unified TCI states or a set of unified TCI groups, and the UE may determine the timing advance value for a given uplink transmission based on the TCI state or TCI group indicated for the uplink transmission.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network node associated with a first transmit-receive point (TRP) identifier (ID) and a second TRP ID, an uplink repetition configuration comprising a first mapping between the first TRP ID and a first uplink repetition component and a second mapping between the second TRP ID and a second uplink repetition component. The UE may transmit a first uplink transmission corresponding to the first TRP ID based at least in part on the first mapping.
