Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an array antenna extending along a first axis in a first direction in a first plane and a second axis in a second direction in the first plane, the first direction being perpendicular to the second direction, the array antenna including; a substrate having a first side and an opposing second side; a plurality of connectors extending in a third direction from the first side, the third direction being perpendicular to the first plane; an antenna element module having a radiating side and an opposing coupling side, wherein the antenna element module includes a plurality of antenna elements arranged on the radiating side and an electromagnetic shielding structure arranged on the coupling side.
