Abstract: A vehicle add-on part for integrating a camera module includes a cover, which consists at least partially of a transparent thermoplastic material, a carrier part for a camera module, and a camera module having at least one camera lens. The transparent thermoplastic material of the cover has, on the inner side, a local thickening and/or a local thinning, and the camera module is held in the carrier part such that the at least one camera lens of the camera module is arranged directly opposite the thickening and/or the thinning.
