    Abstract: A material includes a transparent substrate coated with a stack of thin layers including at least one silver-based functional metallic layer, at least one blocking layer located directly in contact with a silver-based functional metallic layer, and at least one zinc-based metallic layer located above or below this silver-based functional metallic layer, directly in contact or separated by one or more layers having a total thickness of less than or equal to 20 nm.

    Abstract: A method for evaluating the sensitivity of a glazing to forming quench marks depending on its anisotropy, the sensitivity being evaluated by computing parameter σv, the quench marks resulting from different optical phase shifts in different regions of the glazing for a vision in transmission or reflection and from either side of the glazing, the method including computing a transmission parameter T1, T2 through face 1 or 2 or a reflection parameter R1, R2 from face 1 or 2, this computation being done for a region of the glazing without optical phase shift and for a region of the glazing inducing an optical phase shift δ; computing a parameter ΔE(δ) corresponding to the color difference between said regions, based on at least one of T1, T2, R1, R2, and computing σv by applying a function G dependent on computed ΔE(δ) and where appropriate on the one or more corresponding δ.

    Abstract: A projection arrangement for a head-up display (HUD), includes a composite pane, including an outer pane and an inner pane, which are connected to one another via a thermoplastic intermediate layer and having an HUD region, and an HUD projector, which is directed toward the HUD region. The radiation of the projector is at least partially p-polarised, and the composite pane is provided with a reflective layer which is suitable for reflecting p-polarised radiation. The reflective layer includes precisely one electrically conductive layer based on silver, which layer is arranged in a planar manner between a first layer module and a second layer module, the first layer module is the layer module of the reflective layer closest to the HUD projector, the first layer module and the second layer module include dielectric layers or layer sequences, and the first layer module contains a layer based on a transparent conductive oxide.
