    Abstract: The disclosure relates to a digital whiteboard, the digital whiteboard including: a display; a first sensor configured to detect a touch position of a writing instrument with regard to a screen of the display; a second sensor configured to obtain an image based on image capturing; and a processor configured to identify a target region, in which a motion is present, in the image by comparing a series of images captured by the second sensor, identify a color of the writing instrument in the identified target region, and display an image comprising the identified color, at a position corresponding to a touch of the writing instrument on the screen of the display.Thus, the color of the writing instrument touching the screen of the display is automatically identified, and the traces of the writing instrument are displayed with the identified color on the screen, thereby giving a user an experience as if the user directly writes with the corresponding writing instrument on the digital whiteboard.

    Abstract: A display apparatus capable of being touched plural times by a single user or being used by a plurality of users is provided. The display apparatus includes: a display; a sensor sensing a user touch on the display; and a processor configured to execute a writing function corresponding to a first touch when the first touch is sensed through the sensor and executing a function corresponding to a second touch of a user at a coordinate value at which the second touch is sensed in response to the second touch when the second touch is sensed in a predetermined range of the first touch based on a coordinate value at which the first touch is sensed during a period in which the first touch is input.
