Abstract: A liquid crystal display apparatus includes a liquid crystal panel configured to display images; at least one light source configured to supply light to the liquid crystal panel; a front chassis member and a rear chassis member configured to accommodate the liquid crystal panel and the light source module and a circuit board configured to control the liquid crystal display apparatus. The rear chassis member may include a light source supporting portion supporting the at least one light source and a plurality of side surface portions extending from the light source supporting portion to the rear chassis member. The circuit board may be disposed in at least one of the side surface portions.
