Abstract: An electronic device includes: a flexible display connected to a housing; a slide driving unit for sliding the flexible display in the extension/reduction direction; and a processor operably connected to the flexible display and slide driving unit, wherein the processor is configured to identify, responsive to execution of an application, a display event for a display mode option while displaying a screen of the application on the flexible display, identify, responsive to the display event for the display mode option, first context information based on context information associated with the electronic device, display, responsive to the first context information, a first display mode option including view modes associated with the application or electronic device, identify second context information responsive to a change in context information associated with the electronic device, and display a second display mode apart from the first display mode option responsive to the second context information.

Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a display capable of changing the size of a display screen, memory which stores instructions executable by a computer, and a processor which accesses the memory and executes the instructions. The processor arranges at least one piece of first content in a first arrangement on the display screen of a first screen size, maintain the arrangement of the at least one piece of first content in the first arrangement on the display screen of a second screen size, on the basis of a size change of the display screen from the first screen size to the second screen size, and arrange at least one piece of second content to be outputted on the display screen of the second screen size in a second arrangement corresponding to the screen size, on the basis of detection of a first input which causes movement of an application screen on the display screen of the second screen size.
