An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a memory for storing at least one application, a wireless and/or wired communication interface, and a processor. The processor is configured to detect a display event for the at least one application, in response to the detection of display event, determine whether the electronic device is in a state of being connected to an external output device through the communication interface, when it is determined that the electronic device is in the state of being connected to the external output device, determine whether execution of the at least one application is possible, based on a state of connection with the external output device, and control to display, on the external output device, information indicating whether execution of the at least one application is possible.

A light field image capturing apparatus including a shifted microlens array, the light field image capturing apparatus including: an objective lens focusing light incident from an external object; an image sensor including a plurality of pixels, the image sensor outputting an image signal by detecting incident light; and a microlens array disposed between the objective lens and the image sensor and including a plurality of microlenses arranged in a two-dimensional manner, the plurality of microlenses corresponding to the plurality of pixels, wherein at least a part of the plurality of microlenses is shifted in a direction with respect to the pixels corresponding to the at least a part of the plurality of microlenses.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for processing a depth image. A depth image may be generated with reduced noise and motion blur, using depth images generated during different integration times that are generated based on the noise and motion blur of the depth image.
