Abstract: Provided is a method of synchronizing device information between a terminal of a virtual environment (e.g., a metaverse environment) and a terminal of a real space. The operating method of a server includes receiving, from a first terminal, a request to register device information, obtaining device information of a second terminal, in the metaverse, corresponding to the first terminal, based on device matching information, and determining device information of the first terminal, based on the device information of the second terminal, in which the device matching information is determined based on innate attributes of the first terminal and the second terminal.
