Abstract: A method may include defining a rule identifying an event that triggers a change in a value of a metric. Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for determining, for each position of a pointer during a selection of a first graphical element, whether the position of the pointer corresponds to a boundary position in a GUI, and based on determining that the position of the pointer corresponds to the boundary position in the GUI, setting a position of the first graphical element to the boundary position even though the pointer continues to move beyond the boundary position during selection of the first graphical element. The systems and methods further provide for determining that the pointer position has moved beyond a predetermined threshold position for the boundary position and causing the first graphical element to move from the boundary position to the same position as the pointer and continue to move with the pointer during selection of the first graphical element.
