Abstract: A display device including a display panel includes a plurality of pixels corresponding to a plurality of regions, an image compensator configured to obtain compensation data for the pixels by performing respective sampling compensation operations for the regions, and to generate compensated image data by compensating input image data based on the compensation data, the compensation data being generated by performing at least two of the sampling compensation operations based on respective sampling matrices having different sizes, and a display panel driver configured to drive the display panel to display an image corresponding to the compensated image data on the display panel.
