Abstract: A display apparatus includes a substrate including a plurality of island portions spaced apart from each other, a bridge portion connecting the plurality of island portions to each other, and an opening portion arranged between the plurality of island portions, light-emitting elements arranged in each of the plurality of island portions, and protruding electrodes arranged between the substrate and the light-emitting elements and connected to the light-emitting elements, wherein the protruding electrodes include a first protruding electrode and a second protruding electrode, wherein a thickness of the first protruding electrode is different from a thickness of the second protruding electrode.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a display device includes forming a first hole that extends into a substrate, through a first wet etching process using a first etchant and forming a second hole that extends from the first hole further into the substrate, through a second wet etching process using a second etchant. The second etchant has a pH different from a pH of the first etchant.
