Abstract: A display device includes: a display area including a plurality of pixel portions, a plurality of gate lines extending in a first direction, and a plurality of data lines extending in a second direction crossing the first direction, wherein the display area is divided into a first display area and a second display area by a first boundary that extends in the second direction; and a plurality of light blocking portions extending in the first direction between adjacent ones of the plurality of pixel portions that are arranged in the second direction to overlap the plurality of gate lines and blocking light between the adjacent ones of the plurality of pixel portions, wherein a width of a light blocking portion decreases from an edge of the display area toward the first boundary.
