Abstract: A display device according to some example embodiments includes: a substrate including a first area, a second area, and a bending area between the first area and the second area; a display unit overlapping the first area; and a protection layer overlapping the bending area, wherein the substrate includes a groove at the bending area, and the protection layer is formed in the groove.
