Abstract: A display device includes: a substrate comprising an emission area and a non-emission area; a first light emitting element on the emission area of the substrate; a pixel defining layer on the non-emission area of the substrate and defining a first opening; a bank layer on the pixel defining layer, defining a second opening, and containing a conductive material; a first encapsulation layer on the first light emitting element and containing an inorganic material; and a second encapsulation layer on the first encapsulation layer and containing an organic material, wherein a cavity is formed between the first encapsulation layer and the bank layer in a direction perpendicular to the substrate, the cavity overlaps the emission area and the non-emission area, and the cavity is filled by the second encapsulation layer.

Abstract: A display device is disclosed that includes a substrate including a main region and a sub-region, the main region includes a display area in which pixels are arranged and a first non-display area around the display area, the sub-region protrudes from one side of the main region and includes a second non-display area, a circuit layer disposed on the substrate, a light emitting element layer disposed on the circuit layer, an encapsulation layer disposed on the light emitting element layer, a sensor layer disposed on the encapsulation layer, a bank located in a boundary region which is at or near where the first non-display area meets the second non-display area, a conductive pattern disposed on at least one end of the bank and extending outward from the bank, and a wire disposed in the circuit layer and connected from the sub-region to the main region. The wire passes through a region between an edge of the substrate and the conductive pattern and is spaced apart from the conductive pattern in a plan view.
