Abstract: A method of manufacturing a display apparatus comprises providing a base for forming intermediate layers to be disposed between two electrodes, the base including a plurality of areas comprising a first area and a second area; and measuring reflectivities of the first and second areas. A measured reflectivity of the first area is different from that of the second area. The method further comprises placing the base in a deposition chamber to be spaced from a deposition unit provided in the deposition chamber; forming a first intermediate layer over a first one of the pixel electrodes in the first area; moving the base relative to the deposition unit; and forming a second intermediate layer over a second one of the pixel electrodes in the second area, wherein the first intermediate layer has a first thickness and the second intermediate layer has a second thickness different from the first thickness.

Abstract: A display apparatus comprising: a base comprising; a substrate, a plurality of pixel electrodes formed over the substrate, and a pixel definition layer formed over the plurality of pixel electrodes; and an intermediate layer formed over each of the plurality of pixel electrodes of the base. In one implementation, the base is divided into a plurality of areas which comprises a first area and a second area, wherein the intermediate layer formed over the first area of the base has a first thickness, and the intermediate layer formed over the second area of the base has a second thickness substantially different from the first thickness wherein the intermediate layer comprises a common layer and a functional layer, and wherein the common layer of the intermediate layer formed over the first area of the base has a thickness substantially different from that of the common layer of the intermediate layer formed over the second area of the base.
