Abstract: A portable communication device is provided. The portable communication device includes a display including a polymer layer including a first opening formed therein; an organic light emitting layer disposed on or above the polymer layer, the organic light emitting layer including a second opening formed therein and substantially aligned with the first opening; and an encapsulating layer disposed on or above the polymer layer, the encapsulating layer including a third opening formed therein and substantially aligned with the first opening, a first portion of the encapsulating layer encapsulating an upper portion of the organic light emitting layer, a second portion of the encapsulating layer extended from the first portion and forming an inner wall for the second opening such that an inner side portion of the organic light emitting layer around the second opening is encapsulated by the second portion; and an image sensing module at least partially disposed in the first opening, the second opening, and the third opening such that the second portion of the encapsulating layer is disposed between the inner side portion of the organic light emitting layer and a portion of the image sensing module.
