An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a sensor module configured to sense a pressure applied to the electronic device and to send a pressure value corresponding to the sensed pressure to a processor and the processor configured to perform an operation corresponding to the pressure value received from the sensor module, wherein if the sensed pressure belongs to a first interval, the sensor module sends a first pressure value, which represents the first interval, to the processor, wherein if the sensed pressure belongs to a second interval higher than the first interval, the sensor module sends a second pressure value corresponding to the sensed pressure to the processor, and wherein if the sensed pressure belongs to a third interval higher than the second interval, the sensor module sends a third pressure value, which represents the third interval, to the processor.

The electronic device includes a display module, and a first processor and a second processor that are electrically connected with the display module. The first processor is configured to detect an operation performed in the electronic device, determine a range of display control authority to be provided to the second processor according to the operation, and provide the range of the display control authority to the second processor. The second processor is configured to generate a display screen corresponding to the range of the display control authority and provide the display screen through the display module.

The electronic device includes a display that includes a flat region and at least one curved region, an input device that receives a user manipulation, at least one pressure sensor that senses a pressure applied to the electronic device. The electronic device also includes a processor that performs an operation corresponding to the user manipulation based on the result of the sensed pressure caused by the user manipulation inputted on the curved region.
