Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a speaker, a communication circuit, a processor operably connected to the speaker and the communication circuit, and a memory operably connected to the processor, wherein the memory stores instructions for causing the processor, when executed, to identify a first wireless communication connection event, when the first wireless communication connection event is identified, select one wireless communication connection list from among a first wireless communication connection list of the electronic device and a second wireless communication connection list of a counterpart electronic device, identify, from the selected wireless communication connection list, an external electronic device for which a wireless communication connection is to be established, establish a wireless communication connection to the external electronic device identified from the selected wireless communication connection list, and output, through the speaker, a signal received from the identified external electronic device. Various embodiments are possible.

Abstract: According to certain embodiments, an electronic device comprises a short-range communication module, a processor operatively connected to the short-range communication module, and a memory operatively connected to the processor, wherein the memory may store instructions which, when executed, cause the processor to: confirm that the electronic device is inserted into a first external electronic device; obtain setting information regarding a Bluetooth communication connection from the first external electronic device by using the short-range communication module; confirm whether a condition for setting address information of the electronic device is satisfied; and on the basis of confirming that the condition is satisfied, set the address information of the electronic device by using the setting information. Various other embodiments are possible.

Abstract: An electronic device and method are disclosed. The electronic device includes: a communication circuit for transceiving data, a charging circuit for receiving power via an electrical connection, and controlling a communication channel operative through the electrical connection, a memory, and a processor. The processor implements the method, including: receiving, via the charging circuit, and through the electrical connection, connection information of a first external electronic device for communicatively connecting to the first external electronic device, from a second external electronic device into which the electronic device is inserted and receiving power via the charging circuit, transmitting, via the charging circuit, and through the electrical connection, connection information of the electronic device for communicatively connecting to the first external electronic device, to the second external electronic device, and storing the connection information of the first external electronic device in the memory.
