Abstract: A method for displaying a user interface of an electronic device and an electronic device thereof are provided. The method includes displaying at least one object, detecting a touch gesture on the displayed at least one object, displaying a proposed object in response to the detected touch gesture, and replacing the displayed at least one object with a specific object located at a touch-released point among the proposed object when the touch gesture is released.
