Abstract: An electronic device is disclosed. The disclosed electronic device comprises: a memory; a communication module for performing communication with a server; and a processor electrically connected to the memory and the communication module, wherein the processor: receives a key for releasing a door lock from the server through the communication module, and a rule including use conditions for the key and an action to be executed when the conditions are satisfied and stores the same in the memory; and can execute the action on the basis of an event and the rule when the event occurs inside or outside the electronic device.
