    Abstract: A cleaner is provided. The cleaner includes a pressure sensor, a current sensor, a suction motor, a brush motor, memory, comprising one or more storage media, storing instructions, and one or more processors coupled to the pressure sensor, the current sensor, and the memory, wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors individually or collectively, cause the cleaner to obtain a suction pressure value of air sucked into the cleaner from the pressure sensor, obtain a driving current value of the brush motor from the current sensor, determine whether the cleaner has been lifted up from a floor based on the suction pressure value and the driving current value, and decrease suction power of the cleaner by decreasing a rotation speed of the suction motor according to a determination that the cleaner has been lifted up from the floor for a reference time or more.

    Abstract: A vacuum cleaner includes a battery module configured to supply power to a cleaner body, a motor assembly including a printed circuit board (PCB), a suction motor, and an impeller arranged in this order along a direction of a flow path in the cleaner body, a moisture detection circuit provided on the PCB of the motor assembly and configured to detect moisture introduced through the flow path, and at least one processor configured to, when it is determined, through the moisture detection circuit, that moisture has been introduced into the cleaner body, stop driving of the suction motor.

    Abstract: A cleaner includes a brush device including a voltage detection circuit configured to measure a voltage applied to the brush device from a battery, a capacitor charged with the voltage applied to the brush device from the battery, an inrush current reduction circuit including a resistor configured to reduce an inrush current which occurs in charging the capacitor and a switching device used to control the inrush current, and a processor configured to turn off the switching device included in the inrush current reduction circuit based on a drop rate of the voltage measured through the voltage detection circuit being at least a threshold rate.
