Abstract: A placard holding device can be a clear sleeve or a board with clips and a clip assembly that attaches to a vehicle sun visor. The assembly consists of a locking pivot mechanism to hold the placard securely in the up or down position. A knob or protruding ridge or bar is attached to the placard holding device sufficiently large for ease of griping to rotate the placard between a visible position for parking and a position against the visor out of the line of sight of the driver for driving.
