Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a transmission apparatus and a transmission method, a reception apparatus and a reception method, and a communication system that make it possible to implement stabilized communication irrespective of a fluctuation of a communication environment in a WLAN (Wireless LAN, WaveLAN).
When a transmission apparatus transmits a data signal to a reception apparatus, the reception apparatus returns a response signal including a feedback parameter (FP) to the transmission apparatus. In a case where a reception situation of the reception apparatus is poor and improvement of it is necessitated on the basis of the FP, the transmission apparatus adjusts transmission power or the like to improve the reception situation of the reception apparatus. The present disclosure can be applied to a communication system in a WLAN.-

Abstract: Provided are a communication apparatus and a communication method for transmitting and receiving wireless packets.A communication apparatus includes: a communication unit configured to transmit and receive a packet in a predetermined occupied band; and a partial band processing unit configured to provide a control signal area including predetermined control information in a part of the occupied band of the packet transmitted from the communication unit. The control information includes a plurality of synchronization signals at defined time intervals, and includes information for a third station that is not a destination of the packet, such as information regarding a NAV, a network identifier for identifying a network to which the communication apparatus belongs, transmission power information of the packet, allowable interference amount information, and remaining time information of the packet.

Abstract: A wireless communication system includes a wireless communication device that functions as a base station, and one or more wireless communication terminals that communicate with the wireless communication device as slave units, a controller in the wireless communication device sets propriety information indicating whether or not reception of a packet transmitted from the wireless communication terminals is possible during a downlink transmission period when the wireless communication device transmits a packet, and a communication section in the wireless communication device transmits the packet including the propriety information. Furthermore, a controller in the wireless communication terminal controls transmission of the packet to the wireless communication device, during the downlink transmission period when the wireless communication device transmits the packet, according to the propriety information included in the packet, the propriety information indicating whether or not reception of the packet transmitted from the wireless communication terminals is possible.

Abstract: The present technique relates to a wireless communication device and a wireless communication method for enabling acquisition of control information even when a preamble signal cannot be acquired.
The wireless communication device includes an OFDM signal generation section that generates an OFDM signal in which at least one of plural resource units obtained by channel band division is set as a control information resource unit for transmitting control information. The present technique is, for example, applicable to a wireless communication device, etc. that performs wireless communication conforming to a standard such as IEEE 802.11.-
