Abstract: An adhesive tape in particular for wrapping cables, consisting of a preferably textile carrier and of a pressure sensitive adhesive, applied on at least one side of the carrier, in the form of a dried and crosslinker-free polymer dispersion, the polymer having been synthesized from: (a) 97.0 to 98.0 wt % of n-butyl acrylate and/or 2-ethylhexyl acrylate (b) 2.0 to 3.0 wt % of an ethylenically unsaturated monomer having an acid or acid-anhydride function.
