Abstract:
A method of error detection of a flight management system coupled with a guidance of an aircraft according to a flight plan, comprises the steps of: generating a first reference guidance order, monitoring the integrity of the first reference position, when the first reference position is not monitored as being dependable: invalidating the first FMS assembly and the associated guidance system, when the first reference position and the first reference trajectory are monitored as being dependable: generating a first monitoring guidance order, generating a first reference flight control, generating a first monitoring flight control, in monitoring the integrity of the first reference guidance order when the first reference guidance order is not monitored as being dependable: invalidating the first FMS assembly and the associated guidance.
Abstract:
A method implemented by computer for optimizing the cruising trajectory of an aircraft comprises the steps consisting in receiving the parameters of a reference trajectory, the trajectory comprising one or more plateaus and the transitions between these plateaus, the transitions being ascending or descending; and determining, in response to a request received in the course of the flight, at least one candidate alternative trajectory; and determining one or more indicators associated with the candidate alternative trajectory such as determined. Developments comprise the optional display of at least one indicator, indicators associated with the fuel consumption, with a difference in flight time or with the operational cost of the flight of the aircraft, the use of ratios of indicators, the inhibition of descending transitions, particular plateau length transitions as well as economical modes of transition. System aspects are described, comprising avionic or non-avionic means.
Abstract:
A method for manipulating aircraft flight plan segments is provided. A result of an avionics calculation, such as a flight plan sequencing, is selected from among a plurality of results determined by a plurality of systems executed in parallel and placed in competition, each system communicating to at least part of the other systems conditions to be satisfied by the result of a calculation, the method comprises the steps of a given system from among the plurality of systems shares its own calculation result with at least one other system only if its own calculation result satisfies the conditions received from at least one other system. Developments describe various modalities of negotiation and/or selection of the results, the switch to independent and/or the deactivation of a system, voting and/or weighting mechanisms. Software and system aspects are described.
