    摘要: In a process of manufacturing a disc master, a stamper, a disc substrate, and an optical disc, separation performance between the stamper and the disc substrate and maintenance of satisfactory signal characteristics after the optical disc is manufactured are taken into consideration in the step of manufacturing the disc master. In the disc master, a boundary portion between a recessed portion and a non-recessed portion includes a small protrusion which protrudes from a flat surface of the non-recessed portion. The shape of the disc master is inversely transferred to the stamper, and the shape of the stamper is inversely transferred to the disc substrate. The separation performance is improved and the signal characteristics are maintained due to the shape of the boundary portion.

    摘要: A display device of electric power system information comprises a display unit including a display screen; and a screen display control unit for controlling the display unit. The display screen includes a display area that is divided into a plurality of display cells each of which has a mapping function for showing relative positional relations. The display unit includes an electric power system diagram display function unit for displaying an electric system diagram that embodies the state of an electric power system being a monitoring target, a mapping item display function unit for displaying mapping display items in the background of the electric power system diagram using the display cells, and a menu display function for displaying menus and icons, which are used for selecting the mapping display items, on the display screen, and for accepting selection operations to the menus and icons on the display cells on the display screen. The mapping display items represent information of state quantities regarding the state of the electric power system being the monitoring target, and the mapping display items are displayed per display cell with different colors in accordance with the corresponding values of state quantities.

    摘要: Disclosed is an image display device capable of recognizing a hand of a user and predefining an operating region. Image recognition means recognizes the position of a hand of the user. Operating region setup means predefines the operating region, on an imaging region plane of imaging means and around a position on which the user's hand is projected, for the purpose of enabling the user to issue instructions to the image display device. When the position on which the user's hand is projected moves and comes close to the periphery of the operating region, the operating region setup means moves the operating region in the direction of the movement of the position on which the user's hand is projected. Further, the image recognition means recognizes a hand-waving motion of the user, whereas the operating region setup means sets the size of the operating region in accordance with the magnitude of the user's hand-waving motion. Consequently, the image display device provides increased ease of operation and makes it possible to define the operating region in accordance with a user's intention without imposing a significant processing load on itself.
