    Abstract: A floor or wall covering panel has a top and a bottom surface, and at least four sides, where a first and a second side include a first and a second connection profile, respectively, the first profile being configured for mechanically engaging and interlocking with the second profile of another panel, the first profile including a tongue protruding beyond the top edge of the first side, where the second profile includes a groove recessed with respect to the top edge of the second side, the groove is delimited at its bottom by a base, the panel is of laminar structure including a rigid core layer and a wear layer arranged on the core layer, where the core layer includes a first and a second sublayer of a first and a second composite material, respectively, the second sublayer being arranged atop the first sublayer, where both composite materials comprise thermoplastic material and filler material but are of different formulations, and the base delimiting the groove bottom is realized essentially within the first core sublayer.

    Abstract: A decorative surface covering element has a height of 4 mm or less from its top surface to the bottom surface. The surface covering element is configured as a multi-layered compound with a polymer-based core layer laminated between a backing layer and a wear layer, the core layer comprising a core material having a lesser shore hardness than the backing layer and the wear layer. The surface covering element comprises a first connecting profile, integral with the multi-layered compound, that extends along at least one of the edges of the surface covering element. The first connecting profile comprises at least one protrusion realized in the core layer, the protrusion having side surfaces for being seized between opposite surfaces of a recess in a second connecting profile, configured for mating with the first connecting profile, of another decorative surface covering element.

    Abstract: A set (1) of tiles (5) adapted to cover a surface (10) perpendicular to a thickness direction (V) of the tiles (5), each of the tiles comprising at least one upper layer (24), and an underlying rigid core layer (22), the core layer and the upper layer being superimposed in the thickness direction, and the core layer defining a lower surface (S) opposite the upper layer. The tiles comprise at least one first tile (15) having a first edge extending in a longitudinal direction (L), the core layer of the first tile (15) defining a connecting groove (28) in the first edge. The tiles comprise at least one second tile (20) having a second edge extending in the longitudinal direction, the core layer of the second tile defining a connecting tongue (34) protruding from the second edge, the connecting tongue being adapted to be snap-fit into the connecting groove in a connecting direction (C) perpendicular to the longitudinal direction (L) and to the thickness direction in a locked configuration of the first tile and the second tile. The lower surface defines an additional groove (30) parallel to the first edge.
