Abstract:
Systems and methods are provided for performing a dot product. Each of a first series of numbers is divided into a first value, comprising the N most significant bits of the number, and a second value to form first and second sets of values. Each of a second series of numbers is divided into a third value, comprising the N most significant bits of the number, and a fourth value to form third and fourth sets of values. A dot product of the first and fourth sets of values is computed to provide a first partial sum. A dot product of the first and third sets of values is computed to provide a second partial sum. A dot product of the second and third sets of values is computed to provide a third partial sum. The partial sums are summed to provide a result for the dot product.
Abstract:
Advanced driver assistance systems need to be able to operate under real time constraints, and under a wide variety of visual conditions. The camera lens may be partially or fully obstructed by dust, road dirt, snow etc. The invention shown extracts high frequency components from the image, and is operable to classify the image as being obstructed or non-obstructed.

Abstract:
Methods of stitching data generated by a plurality of census transforms are disclosed. The methods include performing a plurality of census transforms on an array of pixels in a first direction. First and second code words of the census transform results are stored in arrays. The arrays are transposed and interleaved. The first and second code words are stitched by reading a vertical column of the array of interleaved code words.
Abstract:
A device includes an input array register, a determining component and a computing component. The input array register stores a sorted list of n elements as an input array having size n, n being an integer greater than or equal to two. The determining component creates a list of m elements as a mask array having a size m, m being an integer greater than or equal to one, one of the m elements being based on two adjacent of the n elements of the input array. The computing component performs a mathematical operation between the input array and the mask array to generate a list of p elements as an output array having a size p, p being an integer greater than or equal to 0, the p elements identifying unique elements within the n elements.
