Abstract: Dental etchant compositions, processes for making the same, and methods for using the dental etchant compositions are disclosed. The dental etchant compositions include at least one acid and one or more dentin collagen cross-linking agents. The methods for using the dental etchant compositions may include contacting a mammal's tooth with a dental etchant composition that includes one or more acids and one or more dentin collagen cross-linking agents.
