    摘要: A ceiling sign installation pole having a slot for carrying an anchor and an intersecting slot for permitting the exiting of a hook hung from the anchor. The installation head has a flat surface with two bumps for lifting adjacent ceiling tiles out of the way during the installation process. The walls of the exit slot bevel outwards towards the bottom of the installation head. Additional slots may be provided for different sized anchors. A flexible joint is used to connect the installation head to an elongated pole.

    摘要: A closed system suction catheter assembly has a valve which controls suction applied at the patient end of the assembly. The valve has a barrel with a bore through it which is rotatable in a housing between an open position, in which the bore is aligned the inlet and outlet of the valve and a closed position, in which it is out of alignment. The barrel has teeth on its outer surface forming a pinion which are engaged by teeth on the underside of a slidable switch. Sliding of the switch rotates the barrel and controls flow through the valve.

    摘要: A closed system suction catheter assembly has a valve which controls suction applied at the patient end of the assembly. The valve has a pinch tube connected in line with the catheter and secured at each end to the housing of the valve. An occluder bar midway along a pivoted lever is urged up by a spring to pinch the tube closed against a fixed occluder and close the valve. The valve has a button protected by a rotatable guard which bears on an end of the lever so that the valve can be opened by pressing down on the button. A snap mechanism engages the occluder lever.

    摘要: A front squeeze trigger discharge assembly for use with a fire extinguisher having a pressurized extinguishing medium therein includes a housing defining a flow chamber. The housing has a front portion and a rear portion configured to rest in the hand of a user, and a pivotable trigger handle mounted to the housing and positioned at the front portion thereof. The pivotable trigger handle is configured for gripping by a user's fingers. The handle includes a pivot for rotating the handle relative to the housing between a first position and a second position toward the housing for discharging the extinguishing medium from the extinguisher. The handle includes a discharge nozzle positioned on the front of the housing and a discharge valve assembly operably connected to said trigger handle for providing a flow path between the container and the discharge nozzle. The trigger handle is pivotable from the first position to the discharge position inward of the housing by gripping the handle and pulling thereon, i.e., squeezing the handle, moving the discharge valve assembly to the discharge position. The housing also includes a nozzle stem which is adapted to interchangeably receive one of a plurality of different discharge nozzles to permit use of the assembly with different types and sizes of fire extinguishers containing different types of extinguishing media, stored at various pressures.

    摘要: An effective method of allowing a sensor node to estimate its own position, based only on coarse distances to its neighbors, together with an embedding mathematical tool. This method involves four major steps for each of the nodes: estimating distances to and exchange distance information with nearby nodes; performing position estimation locally; broadcasting the result; and refining its estimation. It also supports nodes joining/leaving the network and nodes with lower power. Further, because useful information for position-based routing is already embedded during the position estimation process, no extra transmission is required for efficient route determination in reporting data to a collecting node.
