Abstract: An appliance having a user interface with a first controller module, and at least one leak detector. The at least one leak detector having a housing with a second controller module communicatively coupled to the first controller module, and a power source communicatively coupled to the second controller module. The at least one leak detector further having at least one sensor communicatively coupled to the second controller module. The second controller module being configured to receive a status from at least one of either the power source or the at least one sensor.
