Abstract: A dishwasher has a tub defining a wash chamber with an open face, a pivoting door having an open position and a closed position, a slide system having a first rail including a transition element, a second rail slidably interconnected with the first rail for relative sliding, and a dish rack rotatably connected to the slide system by a pivot system. The pivot system is attached to the transition element to cooperatively pivot with the door as the door is moving from the open position to the closed position.
