Abstract: An example method of coordinating a mobile robot with a worker to access a task location of a task includes: obtaining the task location of the task for the mobile robot; defining a restricted region about the task location, the restricted region defining a region in which the mobile robot is restricted from stopping; identifying a worker access zone of the restricted region, the worker access zone for the worker to enter the restricted region to access the task location; determining a stop pose for the mobile robot, wherein the stop pose includes a stop position outside the restricted region and selected to avoid obstructing the worker access zone; and directing the mobile robot to the stop pose for completion of the task.

Abstract: Systems and methods for proximity device to device user interface management are disclosed. The systems and methods include a primary user device displaying variable data to a user assigned one or more tasks to be performed. In response to determining that the primary user device is within a predetermined range of an assistive device, the systems and methods pair the two devices, identify task data and/or other data, and modify a user interface displayed on the assistive device, where the modification occurs from device to device communication of displayed variable data and results in variable data from the primary user device being displayed on the assistive device.

Abstract: A computing device with an output assembly and microphone stores: an input mechanism identifier corresponding to a client application and indicating one of several input mechanisms; and speech recognition engine interfaces, executable independently of the client application to control respective speech recognition engines. The device executes the client application to generate a request for input data; responsive to the request generation, retrieves the input mechanism identifier; when the input mechanism identifier indicates a predetermined engine, provides the request to a corresponding speech recognition engine interface; executes the corresponding interface to control the predetermined engine to obtain audio data via the microphone, for conversion of the audio data to input data by the predetermined engine; receives the input data at the corresponding interface from the predetermined engine; returns the input data to the client application; and executes the client application to control the output assembly to present the input data.
